It is BAD here.. there will be alot of visiting tomorrow
Slot pull was a bust
I wore the wrong shirt right off the bat
There was one bright point, Jennine got 2nd place in her first ever slot tournament and won $1,000 freeplay .. WOOHOO!!!!
FYI, don't expect a trip report from me, it's been far too brutal to relive.

| I can attest! At least I got a free shirt and jacket at the Hollywood. Those are now officially the most expensive two pieces of clothing I have ever owned! |

Sorry to hear it guys! I was hoping the casino would loosen up a bit so that the stories of great wins would lure back the sheeple! Hope you have a good time at the meet, it's still the best thing about the trip! I still want trip reports though!!
Cheers

Darn it, Brian. I hate to hear this and am hoping today yielded some better results. This afternoon a little bird told me that Lynn did some good over at Hollywood..........of all places.
What happened to Bobbie? Sounds like this trip went to you-know-where for some of us.
Well Brian, send some better news on your next report! _________________

Lisa I think he meant ME, not Bobbie. Last I heard Bobbie was packed and raring to go. I guess in the excitment of the casino he got our names confused!! Glad to hear Lynn did some winning, even if it was at the HW, LOL.
We will wait and wait and wait, surely Brian will take pity on us and post some good news!
Cheers

Luna, Lynn said something about Bobbie's flights getting bumped. So, I'm not sure if she made it there or not. Maybe somebody will update us. If she didn't get there today I'm saying she is not a happy camper. _________________

Nope, weather kept Bobbie at home.. maybe we can all get together in the fall.
Things we no good for me today which pretty much sealed the deal on leaving tomorrow. 4 digit loss the first day and 3 digit loss today............ _________________ W2G free since 1976

Brian, I hope you will find something to redeem yourself today.
Fall sounds good. Maybe everyone might make it then. _________________

Here's my one and only photo worthy hit of the entire trip. By the time I hit this at 7:00 Sunday night I was so far down this wasn't even a ripple in the bucket.
I'll give you 1 guess as to who this hit belongs to.. I can tell you her name starts with L and ends with N and she's from the land of cheese.

Post subject: Bobbie's Non Tunica Trip

Hi everyone,
Yes it is true. I did not make it to Tunica. On Saturday night I checked my flight for the final time and saw that it had been canceled. OMG! My 6:40 a.m. flight got canceled due to weather and I was schedule to go on the next flight which was at 11:03 a.m. on a small regional jet. I really did NOT want to get on this plane but I wanted to get to Tunica so I went to the airport. Everything looked OK but then the rain did not stop. At around 11:00 a.m. they announced on the loud speaker that the incoming flight from Memphis which would be our outgoing flight was diverted to Midway Airport (I was at O'Hare Airport) and they had no plane to take us to Memphis so everyone scrambled to the desk to get alternate flights. At this point I was so disgusted I just got my luggage and went home. When I called the airline at home they told me they booked me to leave Monday morning and I told them to forget the whole thing. I did not want to go to Tunica for 2 nights. I will reschedule hopefully in the summer or wait until the fall when everyone goes again.
Lisa, what happened to you? I thought you were definitely going to be able to go to Tunica. I am sorry to hear.
Anyway, I have taken a couple days off work and will go back to the office tomorrow.
Brian, I am really sorry to hear the trip has been awful in the win department. Hopefully the next couple of days you can turn it around.

Bobbie,
so sorry to hear you got bumped like that but maybe it was a small blessing in disguise, based on what Brian is saying and also with this flu thing going around, an airplane might not be the best place to be! Seems like no matter how far in advance you plan there is always something to throw a monkey wrench into it!
Maybe fall will be better for all us. I've got my fingers crossed. Enjoy your unexpected days at home!
Cheers

Luna,
I think you are right. The "Good Man" upstairs was telling me to stay home. I really did NOT want to get on that small plane. I have never flown in a small plane and have heard that smaller planes really feel the turbulence and that is the part of the flight that always frightens me so much.
The moment they announced the incoming flight was diverted to Midway Airport which is on the south side of Chicago (O'Hare Airport is on the northwest side of Chicago) I knew that I was cancelling the whole trip.
I would have liked to have gone to Tunica but not at the expense of a flight from hell. I just wish Tunica was closer so I could drive. Maybe I can look into taking a train to Memphis. That just might be fun.

The rumors were true. Brian and I were both like Charlie Brown on Halloween on Sunday. Pretty much every machine we played was "I got a rock"It was a lot of fun though. Love seeing everyone of course, and that's the saving grace when you're losing, losing, losing. More to come! Brian, you'll get em next time! _________________

Brian, it may have been raining in Chicago, but the waters were treacherous at the Fitz. My ship sank on Sunday also. If I hadn't started low balling it on Monday my bankroll would have been beyond repair.
I can't just say it was all the Fitz (dropped the most there) because I left a couple hundred everywhere I went. That HS buffet was a $200 plate dinner...LOL
