Post subject: Missing trip report!
|
|
|
|
Isn't there some people here who snuck off to Biloxi a few weeks ago (without permission) that OWE us a trip report?? I think I recall something about that. I won't mention names (like Jean or Pam) but I think they have been remiss in their duties to this board!
Cheers

Luna,
I think you are right. I do recall a couple ladies missing in action not too long ago.
Very suspicious!

Yep....went, stayed and I think I went in a casino but seemed like I was in the room more than I gambled. All I can say is DON'T take a non-gambler with you. _________________ Jean

Jean, I hate it that you didn't get out in the casino more. I am definitely going to take your advice. But never fear, September in Tunica is near! There will be no resting in the room until your dog tired and can't managed to keep an eye open any longer. _________________

Lisa,
Thanks for sympathizing with me, my chin would have been on the floor if it hadn't been so much fun spending time with Pam and Chuck. We did have a lot of laughs and we are still laughing about it.
Now Tunica that is a real gambling, fun adventure with true die hard gamblers. LOL
Love ya all! _________________ Jean

Casinos have rooms? Is this a new thing? _________________ W2G free since 1976

Jean................was this your first time to Biloxi? Inquiring minds want to know. And next time, park the non gamblers at the Beau Rivage shops. They are pretty, and they are expensive. I've always thought of them "just for looking, not for buying". At least until you get to the ice cream shop, those goodies are for buying!
Cheers

Yeah it was the first time I'd been there to stay. I lived there back in 1964 (pre casino days). I was through there right after Katrina, the Isle of Capri was the only casino on the blvd. open. The IP was open also, but again we had a non-gambler with us so it was a quick stop. This sounds like a bad rerun...LOL
This time we stayed at the Grand which was nice and the location was great, had a nice gulf view. The casino was pretty small.
I got to see the Beau the first ten feet inside of the casino anyway. Also the Island View and the IP. I liked the casino at the IP nice size.
Luna, my thoughts are just stay home if you have to go with a non gambler....
