RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!

I'm telling you, I am really going to get myself in deep troublw one of these days.

So I go to Quizno's to get a sandwich for our lunch today. I waited until after the lunch rush. Only a few peeps in the store and one lady ahead of me in line. I get behind her and she is on the phone with whoever she is planning to eat lunch with. She's asking her friend what she wants her to order for her.

Okay, that's rude enough but............... she keeps talking and talking and talking. I am standing behind her getting more and more annoyed. She has not placed her order yet but we have been standing there for a full 5 minutes. I kind of try to go past her so I can at least place my own order and leave. No, she made sure to position herself so that I couldn't.

She finally hangs up and starts to tell the guy what kind of sandwiches she wants. And they guy asks her a question about which kind of whatever she wants. Out comes the phone again and she and chatty cathy are at it again, only now she's reading the ENTIRE menu to her friend and asking the guy more questions and repeating his answers back to her friend. On, and ON, and ON. My eyeballs are ready to pop and I am pissed off.

So I finally get fed up and snatch the phone out of her hand, tell her friend she HAS to go now and tell the woman to get the hell out of my way, this is NOT Burger King, you don't get to have it your way and if you say one word to me I will shove this phone down your throat!

Okay, okay, so that's only what I wanted to do, LOL.

Actually what I did was say to the guy at the counter was "Are all your customers this rude"........to which he refused to reply but just grinned at me. The lady got the hint, made exaggerated sighs and finally got herself out of my way.

One of these days though, I won't be able to stop myself. I was pissed off. Seems like I stay that way lately, I just have so little patience but I will try to do better! I will, really!!! I just hope she choked on her her "sammies". Not really, well yeah, no, no, no. God Help me!

Actually Luna, I think you should have done what you thought about doing. You would have felt a whole lot better. LOL

So take time to sit down often! And be sure to catch your breath
But keep talking about all the fun things that you write about
And then you can tell'em that I simply laughed myself to death!

Glad you didin't get mean, Luna. Although, you probably should have. Rude people should not be allowed to have cell phones, if you ask me, because it makes them even more rude. Just an observation.

Somehow people that use the cell phone oftne get the feeling of self importance and all manners and consideration for anyone around them flys out the window.

Ummm....maybe there is something to the idea that cell phones are sending toxic waves into our brains....ya think? LOL
