My question is....when you play a machine do you play full coin or give it a few spins to see if it will do anything?

Depends on the machine here.  If it's a quarter, 50c or $1 reel machine, I usually play full coin.  If a video machine, I usually won't play full coin.  $5 and up machine depends on the type of machine.  If it's WOF or a Sizzlin/Blazin 7, I'll play full coin.  If it's a regular slot, usually I won't.

It depends on what denomination, if it's a penny I won't usually hit max bet on it.  But yes on the others, sometimes I do play around to see what it will do.  If it's going good, I'll play max but if its going downhill fast I'll play around with it.

I still don't know what I'm doing wrong!  LOL.
That answer could be-- just showing up on a slot machine.
I do try, though!
If it's a regular slot machine, I'll always go full coin
on the first pulls and cut back after a while if it doesn't pay.
With the video games, I play all lines but not max coin per line.
I did hit a winner one time, several years ago!

On the penny slots I usually just play 1 or 2 per line.   On Quick Pick or Hot Shots if the lowest jackpot is getting up there I'll get brave and play max sometimes.  On the video keno I usually start out with a small bet and then if my numbers are hitting, increse my bet.

On video games I play all lines, but don't play max  coin on them. That's a sure fire way for me to be out of the action in short order. In the old days playing max on games like Jackpot Party wasn't too bad, since there wasn't a gazillion paylines. On quarter reel games I usually play max coins. On $1 and $5 machines, it depends on how the machine is cooperating. But,  these days I rarely play $5 games.

Like Lynn said, always max on Sizzlin' 7's, WOF and such games that require max coin to get bonus spins, jackpots, etc.  Dont ever want to get caught with your pants down on either of those.

Very interesting.....

I usually play full coin on reel machines at the dollar level.  If I'm getting killed then I might see if a machine will play nice, but I find one that pays even across the board (like Double Diamond).
I always play full coin on quarter machines, now video that's a whole different ballgame. I play all lines but seldom max coin.  Only a few of the lower end ones that will max at less than a dollar.

Like everyone else here when it comes to WOF and Sizzling 7's I always play full coin.

VP if I can't play full coin, I don't play.  Stupid here once hit a Royal with 3 coins in........DUH!

Full coin in the quarter and dollar reel slots.  Occasionally full coin on the penny reel slots, and depending on whether it's hitting any, sometimes I'll play max coin on the penny video slots, and usually maybe 3 or 4 credits per line on the nickel slots.  The only time I can recall playing max coin on a nickel video slot, was on a Kenny Roger's "The Gambler" machine.  That was $15.00 per spin, so needless to say I didn't do that very long!

Edited to add: I always play max coin if it's a progressive or a buy a pay type machine.
