Post subject: VERY Short Trip

Well, after making me an offer last night that I COULD and DID refuse, Dave upped the ante tonight. The negotiation process was brutal, but I finally got the offer I was looking for. LOL. The first offer was he'd LET me drive. Don't think so. Then he offered $50 to start the negotiations, so I countered with $2,000. ROFL. We eventually settled on what I'm sure he knew he'd have to offer.
Headed out a little earlier than usual, but not too much by the time he got ready. I first went to a Vibrant 7's nickel machine and stuck in $100. I ended up getting the bonus, which retriggered giving me a total of 30 free spins. During the spins, I managed to hit the tic tac toe game twice and got the bottom progressive each time. I ended up cashing out $200 from that machine.
Over to nickel Stinkin Rich. The bonuses were flying. No retriggers, but I was getting a fair number of them. I sat down at the machine with $600, and when I was done I had $1100. Over to the penny Stinkin Rich machine, which I was surprised was empty. Stuck in a $200 ticket, and got a couple of bonuses and cashed out a $400 ticket. Took that ticket to the 2c Stinkin Rich, where I got one bonus, but ended up losing $100 on the machine.
I took the $300 ticket over to cash it, cause I thought I might try the nickel one again. As I was walking back there, I saw Dave. He was already broke. I don't even think we'd been there an hour and a half. I cashed out my other tickets and we left. I ended up leaving $700 ahead. Gave Dave $340 of it and I kept $360 of it. He ended up with a net loss of $160, which sounded a whole lot better to him than $500. Plus, he didn't have to pay me back the $500 he "fronted" for me to go.
Bankroll intact for Tunica. Yippee!

Lynn, another good night for you! WTG. I'm glad you packed it up and left with your "Tunica cash". That takes willpower. Something I apparently did not have last night. _________________

Lynn,
Congratulations on coming home a winner. So glad to hear your Tunica funds are still completely in tact. Sounds like it was a good night for you. I hope you have the same great luck in Tunica.

Glad you made that round in the black! Dave gets no sympathy from me, you tried to tell him...
Hope the wins continue for you through your Tunica trip! _________________ Jean

He wanted to go again last night! Must have wanted to go BAD, cause he offered me $1K. Believe it or not, I declined the offer. Told him I was tired, we were going to Tunica in a few days and we needed to stay home. It was tough, though, I tell you. I just kept thinking of all the work I have to do this week and couldn't afford to start it off with no sleep. _________________

I'm thinking the quantity of whiskey imbibed may have had something to do with it. Trust me, it was VERY tempting, but it just wasn't right. You'd think he'd learn it's expensive to have a designated driver. LOL. _________________

WTG Lynn, though I'm still grinning over the thoughts of turning down the offer to drive for a fee, especially that fee!
Thanks for another good read.
