Since I had most of my money from New Year's Day, I headed off to the casino about 4 a.m. Got my Diet Coke, cashed my Bonus Play Coupon and sat down at the same machine I won on New Year's Day. Put $100 in and was even up a little when I got the bonus round. Ended up with another W2G! What sucked is that it was for $1203.50. Why couldn't it have been for $1199.95? I was staying just under the taxable until almost the end of the bonus round, then I got the dreaded hit that put me over. Sat there, and who comes to pay me off, but my Bulgarian friend from New Year's. At least this time she didn't have to go pay someone else in the middle of paying me. Played the machine down to my original $100 and cashed out.

Again, could I go home then? Of course not! Once again it was my first machine. I tried some other machines, but the only thing I could even get any play on was Stinkin Rich, so I bounced between a few machines. Losing most of the time, I might add, but getting a lot of play. Of course there were several times when my bony little fingers just couldn't find the dang cash out button when it should have!

If there's a bright spot, it's that this time, instead of coming home $30 down, I came home $100 up. That makes me up a whopping $70 for the year, which I'm sure they'll get back in no time.

Next planned trip is early am on the 21st for 10X points. Then, back on the 27th for the "Win Big Again" or something like that drawing. Now that I have 2 entries it may be worth attending. You get an entry for every W2G you get. At 8 pm they draw a name for $10K. at 9 pm they draw a name for $5K. After the $5K winner is verified, they draw 3 1K winners and 4 $500 winners. I think there are fewer winners this month. It seems as if there were 10 $500 winners before. It's a must be present, and names drawn are often not there. I've been there for it a couple of times, but have never won. I think it's my turn. Especially for the $10K.

Ended up playing for 5 hours and again racked up a lot of points. I'll have to cash them in before the end of the month, because they're going to using points for freeplay next month. With any luck at all, my original bankroll will take me through the next two trips!

Hey, can you try to not go to the winning machine the first time and save it till the last? LOL Hey, a win is a win, and you did leave a winner.
Hope the next 2 trips are very successful and you win right before you leave. lol

Lynn left off the best part.. she took a picture and the guard made here delete it. I would have told them I don't know wtf they're talking about I was trying to call my mother-in-law... ROFL

I know how you hate that border line w2g. Sure ticks you off, I think it's long overdue for a new limit on that, $1200 is way too low for the payoffs and amounts played into machines now.
Sure hope your ticket is drawn for the 10k.....you are right, you are due!

What crap, a picture is hardly a security issue these days. He just had to be around at the moment and figured he could make a show of authority.

I can't believe that guy made you take the picture off your phone. What a jerk. You shoulda told him you'd take it off and he coupld put it where the sun don't shine. Probably not a good idea though.

And by the way, I had never played a Stinkin' Rich until this weekend, and I tried every one of them in Horseshoe Southern Indiana--and they stink! Didn't get a thing out of 'em. I think they're waiting for you!

I thought I had put it in about the pic. That's what you get for no sleep. LOL. Yeah, I was sitting there waiting to get paid, and pulled my phone out to take a pic of the win. A guard is immediately there, saying "Did you just take a picture?" I said, "Yes, I just took a pic of the win." He told me he needed to see me delete it, as I couldn't take pics there. I told him I wasn't sure I knew how, which was the truth. He said, "You know how.". Well, I figured it out and deleted it in front of him. Then he tells me he'll "have to trust me that I deleted it." I told him he watched me do it. He said, "I don't know anything about those.". Oh, and he told me THEY WOULD take my pic if I had a big winner. Well, I won 5K there once and they didn't take my pic. Heck, if I'd have known he didn't know what he was talking about, I wouldn't have deleted the pic! Later, at home, Jackie told me I should have asked for a supervisor. They would have let me take the pic. Maybe would have made me sign something saying I was just taking a pic of my own win. I don't know what kind of "casino trade secrets" I would be giving away by taking a pic of a winning screen.

Lynn I think you and I were twins separated at birth!!! I have had soooo many of those damn $1201 hits, makes me want to scream. I like the money just, dammit, if I am going to have a w-2, I want it for the big bucks!

Anyway, sounds like ya had fun. And it didn't cost any pocket money. WTG. As for the security guard, what an ass. You should have said I'll delete but there goes your tip, honey!
