I finally had Dave talked out of going to the casino, which I THOUGHT was a good thing............until I went to bed and tossed and turned and tossed and turned. Finally, about 5 a.m., I thought he was still awake and asked him if he still wanted to go. Well, I scared the crap out of him, but he decided that would be ok.

We got there around 6 a.m., and I scored my first win of the day.....a Diet Coke at the free soda machine. Settled into a nickel Stinkin Rich machine and played and played, sticking money in, cashing out with some, not with others. When I was done with that machine, I was up $300. Should have left then......but the whole 1st machine thing. The ticket redemption machine cashed my first ticket, then didn't have enough money for the 2nd, so I went to the cashier and cashed it, plus my coupon.

Saw the $1 Sizzlin 7's was up over $1300, and played 2 machines, losing $100 in each of them. I used to do so well on these machines, but now I can't seem to get anything going on them and should just leave them alone. Played a video WOF game, and cashed out $100 ahead on that one. Tried a $2 Quick Hits machine and lost $50, and also noticed the card reader wouldn't work, so I cut my losses.

Back to the back room to my favorite Stinkin Rich machine. It was a lot of up and down for me, and I ended up $250 down for the morning when I finished on it. Stuck $100 in the Nickel Vibrant 7's that I had done well on before, but it seemed to have forgotten me, and I lost that. Stuck the $50 ticket in a quarter Diamond Jackpots machine and played for a LONG time, but eventually lost that, so now I was down $400 for the morning.

Went to the high limits area and stuck $100 in the Wild RWB and lost it. Decided to stick another $100 in it, and was glad I did, when it started playing and I ended up cashing out a $500 ticket, which put me only $100 down.

Briefly toyed with the idea of looking for Dave and leaving then, but thought better of it, and decided to go to the nickel Stinkin Rich in that area, that's usually a bad idea for me. Stuck in $100, and lost it pretty quickly. Stuck in a 2nd $100, and then it started playing with me. I got several bonuses and some good hits, played for a decent length of time, and ended up cashing out a ticket for $500.

I had thought about going back to see if I could get on the 2 cent Stinkin Rich, but Dave found me then and was ready to go. I was $200 up, had played for 5 hours and decided it was probably a good idea.

In the end, it wasn't pretty, but as I say, a win is a win. Came home with a little extra cash and some lovely Mardi Gras beads as a parting gift. Still on track for Tunica!

Those casinos are great entertainment when you have time on your hands........or can't sleep. LOL

Sorry you didn't come out farther ahead, but at least you saw a profit. That's a whole whopping lot better than I can say for my sorry self today. Somebody kick me!

I'm glad you couldn't sleep, lol, it was those damn coupons, I just know it. Hey $200 for 5 hours of "play" is pretty damn good in my book. That comes to $40 an hour. If some one would pay me that kind of wage for playing I would work 16 or 18 hours a day!

Glad Dave showed up when he did, otherwise if you had stayed longer and lost, you would have blamed him. This makes for a happier marriage. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, the beads were for Jackie. She told me to get the ones with Ducks on them for her. Well, I go through the line, and they show me the only one they had with a Duck on it, so I get them. I guess it wasn't the right one, though. There were some with plastic ducks that you could squeeze, but I didn't see those. Oh, well, I TRIED.
