From what I remember from personal experience, Fitz was kinda dumpy. Please understand this was going back about 8 to 9 years ago. Today, I have no idea what it is like.

From posts I have read, and pics I have seen it appears the hotel has made some major improvements. All I can remember is how dingy and dirty it was the last time I was in the casino.

The picture I saw of the room was georgous. Can someone please enlighten me on how it is today compared to say 8 to 10 years ago.

Is it a nice casino to play in, stay in and eat in. I would appreciate any help.

I do remember when I felt the same way about the Fitz. They have made a real comeback as far as lightening up the casino and cleaning up. Just in the past year I think they have recarpeted all the casino and halls. They still aren't flashy as some, but much improved.

Yes the rooms are some of the nicest in Tunica now.

I liked the links...both of them. That Kenny Rogers machine in Tunica sure doesn't like me.....who would have thought...LOL

Bobbie - The remodeled rooms at Fitz are really, really nice. Don't know how many they have have re-done.

Bobbie, I think the Fitz has made great strides in the last couple of years. The rooms are very nice now. Really put the GS to shame. (We'll see what happens after the GS remodel). The buffet is about 3000% better than before IMO. It's a little small, but it's a whole lot better. I've only eaten once at the Shamrock Cafe, and it wasn't a great experience then. I DO wish they had some kind of a food court or fast food place like GS. I like the Fitz casino. They've done some work in there and I think it looks nice. The upstairs is a little too crowded in some areas IMO, but overall I really like it there.
