Friday Night TripI went on a casino tour bus to Paradise casino last night. I lost part of my money I took with me.
The originator of the tours is Sharon. She has a bubbly type personality and makes the bus ride interesting. She even cheers you up when you get back on bus for the trip home after losing. Several of the people did come home winners. There were 45 of us that made the trip. The bus driver also made the ride cheerful. I would say there were several people in their 50's, but the majority of us were in our 60's and older. One man on the bus said he would be having his 61st wedding anniversary this month.
Sharon mentioned she had a tour from Wichita, Ks that went to Riverwind Casino, just south of Oklahoma City, on Wednesday. Besides trips to Ponca City and Oklahoma City areas, she has trips planned for Tulsa, Topeka and Tunica. They will be staying at Resorts in Tunica.
I gave Sharon a card with Tunica Players information on it. Maybe she will drop in and hopefully encourage other casino goers to do the same. The trips are inexpensive and I look forward to going again.
I don't mean to be posting SPAM in our forum, but I was glad to find this service available in this area.
Since I lost last night, my daughter and I are going to Firelake casino tonight. I've been there 4 times and have come home a winner each time. I'm hoping I keep my streak going as I have almost spent all of my money I won there last time. LOL

Keno - You're at it again I see. LOL Sounds like fun though. I've been on one Tunica bus trip and it was kinda of an interesting change of pace. It's nice to just be dropped off at the door and have someone else haul your bags for you.
Good luck at Firelake. Hope you WIN!

Hey Keno,
Sounds like a fun time on the bus and the casino. I've never done the bus, but the plane junkets are always a blast. Kind of nice as Lisa said, door to door service and nothing to worry about except having a good time. Information is never spam in my book, and giving the card to Sharon was great. Brian and Lynn, have worked hard (still do) to have lots of info about Tunica, that should help anyone going there, especially for the first time.
So where and when are you going next????

Keno, glad you had a good time. Wish you'd come home a winner in money, too. Hopefully last night was successful for you. Thanks for giving a card to Sharon. Not spam in my book. I appreciate you getting the information out there. Hopefully we may pick up some people. Hey, if you go on any more of her trips, ask her if she'd be interested in having more of them for people, or some pens or something. I'd be happy to send her some stuff if you got her information.
I'm glad to see you're back out there doing the important stuff: Gambling! Can't wait to read about the next adventure.

My 5th trip to Firelake Casino was not a winner. I went with my daughter and her husband and we all contributed.

Gosh darn it, didn't those machines know who was playing them? Sorry it didn't play nice this time, I know you will be back for revenge soon.

Keno, I sure enjoy reading about your adventures. Good luck on your next one! Introduce yourself to those machines and let em know who's boss.

Keno, I think you should have registered a complaint. Don't they know you're supposed to win there? What's up with that?

Keno,
That's enough of this losing nonsense. I'd recommend the "Moon Dance", but I tried that and it didn't work....
