Get Well Soon Mphs Ed!

Ed, sorry to hear you've been in the hospital and been under the weather.  Get back to fighting shape soon so you can go back and beat those casinos!  Thinking about you.
Jean

Ed, sorry your having a bad time right now. Hope you get back on your feet real soon.  You can't take any sick days now, you're retired .... Remember!

I guess I had better get on here and let everyone know that I'm still here and kicking (at least one leg).  They did an arteriogram on my left leg last week to check on a blockage that had shown up on an ultrasound.  I had a graft done on that leg about 3 and a half years ago but it was becoming blocked again.
While he was looking at the leg, the doc thought he might clear a few small clots by injectioning a blood thinning "Clot buster".  So instead of going home from a routine outpatient procedure, I ended up spending the night in ICU.  No big problems and I escaped the next day.  The bad part is the blockage is still there and they will have to go in and do another graft.
They only indications I have is that after walking about a 100 yards,  my calf muscles starts cramping and I have to sit down a few minutes.  This works great at the casinos when trying to decide on a slot to play.  Which reminds me to cut this short.  Cay and I are heading to Resorts for the free slot play drawing.  I'm ahead of Cay 2 to 1, got to give her a chance to catch me.
Again, thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers. It  looks I'm still here to pull the handle and count the cards.

WooHoo Ed!  Didn't figure they could keep you down for too long.  You've got places to go, money to win!  Hope the graft goes smooth for you.  Keep us posted.
Jean

Glad to hear that they couldn't keep you down, Ed. Hope the graft goes well.
In the mean time, I hope the casinos are nice to you.

Hey Ed!!  Glad to hear things are going better.  I knew they couldn't keep an ol retired military guy down...way too tough for that.

Keep us posted on how you are doing.  Take Care Ed!
