Hit and run at CherokeeAfter working 13 hours and being up 29 everything is kind of a blur, but I'll report the important parts.
Left for the casino and gassed up, had $7 left after gas so I snatched a $5 and a $2 lottery ticket.. free ticket on the $5 game and $20 on the $2 game. I'm ahead already.
Uneventful ride to the casino, tried to get in the parking garage, no luck there, unless you're an invited guest with the top secret map to get in, parked and rode the shuttle because I won't pay $10 to valet park.
Go inside, mom and brother go to get their cards while I go to the bathroom, I come out and they're still in line, that cost me $40 in Blazin' 7's right off the bat.. great. Get those two started and go to collect my free money and my free money. Cluster from the get go, they had 2 promotions running at the same time, this line was for one promo and that line was from the other, I got in the wrong one but was redirected and got my $100 cash ticket, I thought I was doing pretty well till the people in front of and behind me had cards worth $500.. sheesh!. In line at the cashier someone says I can put my monthly coupon in the machine to play, works for me. Cash my other coupon and tuck it away.
Start with my monthly play, which is all I intended on playing but I stopped at the ATM on the way and got $100 more just in case. My monthly disappeared pretty quickly in several machines so I got into my ATM stash. I was down to 2 $20's and looking forward to a nap at home very soon. Stuck a $20 into a nickel Hee Haw, down to 60 credits, spin and get 4 corns for 225 coins, thought here goes this, push it again and get 7 ears of corn for the $350 3rd of 5 level progressive! If one more would have stopped it would have been $2500.. damn it. It's not a blazin 7 progressive but a progressive none the less. Cash out and give my brother some money and put some more away.
Here's where it gets blurry.. walked around sticking $20's in games and getting $50 out over and over, tucking some away and keeping some to play. Finally got too late and I had to go, ended up bringing nearly $400 home which is pretty good for Cherokee. The others in the party didn't fare as well but they weren't broke either. Treated everyone to lunch/dinner and zoomed home.
Can't wait to get to Tunica.

Brian, WTG! I'm proud of you. Congrats. You had me worried when you said ATM. I KNOW ATM was never mentioned in chat last night. I was afraid you were going to follow the "Lynn example of gambling", as opposed to the "Lynn instructions for gambling". So glad it worked out well. More Tunica stash! Yeah!

WTG Brian! ATM? I don't remember anything said about an ATM in chat either. LOL But...woohoo!!! It worked out great! Imagine that! LOL Brian, you came out ahead! There's hope for us yet. LOL

Good trip! You got away with MONEY! WTG! Maybe this is "our" year, Brian. I think it's high time for a couple of us on this forum to see some profits for a change. We can only hope. And, pray.

Brian glad to see you snuck out the door with money! In Cherokee that's nearly an act of God! We still didn't get anything from them for any promotion. Shows you how far down the ladder we have fallen..... even low end casinos are giving us the kiss off.
