I think it's safe....Everyone should have a new java update this morning, I installed and it seems to still work with chat. You may want to check the chat page after you install to make sure it'll work. If not you can uninstall the update from your add/remove programs.
Oh yeah happy april fools day, hope that stupid virus didn't get you.. remember to use windows update often. To see if you have the virus try clicking to mcafee.com or norton.com. if you can't get those pages, you have it. Click start, all programs, windows update at the top

I haven't had a java update pop up yet, but I just got on so it'll probably show up soon.
Happy April Fools to you too Brian and thanks for all the info. Hopefully none of us have to deal with that virus.
