It's all Cop's Fault

After having informed Dave SEVERAL times we were not going to the casino this morning, I think he believed it.  Until Cop mentions in chat that he might come up there.  Guess I have to share in the blame, since I was foolish enough to tell Dave this.  It was all the opening he needed for unmerciful badgering to get me to go.  Of course Cop decides he's not going, and well.......I am weak.

We get there and the losing begins.  And continues.  It was pretty ugly.  My favorite 2c and 5c Nickel Stinkin Rich were shut down.  I couldn't seem to hit on anything I was playing.  I got a few tickets, but they were for less than I put in.  I decided to go for one last shot on my 2nd favorite nickel Stinkin Rich, and that turned out to be a good move.  I was hitting pretty good, and ended up cashing out several tickets and was only $200 down.  I was pretty happy.  Went over and played a couple of other nickel machines.  1st one I lost $50 in, then I moved to the Nickel Vibrant 7's, hit the bonus a couple of times and got the lowest progressive a couple of times, finally cashing out just ahead of even.  Saw some transmissive reel Wizard of Oz and went to play it.  It was cold until I finally hit the bonus.  This one has the multi-progressives in it, and I didn't hit one of those during the bonus, but did get a 5X pay, and between that and the cashout for the Vibrant 7's, was still hanging in at minus $200.

I went to find Dave, cause I was ready to go, and could live with the $200 loss.  Of course he wasn't ready to go.  Ended up losing more money waiting for him, but at least I didn't come home completely broke.  I played several $1 machines waiting for him and I don't think they could have been any colder.  It was like making a deposit in an ATM.  No withdrawals allowed.

The good news is, if rumor is correct, I won't have to play at all when I go to the Kris Kristofferson concert.  They are supposed to be doing the players system change over.  EVERY cashout will be a hand pay.  No points earned.  No coupons allowed.  No cashing in points.  (No thank you!)
