In keeping with my annual New Year's Day Tradition I went to the local casino. Got there this morning about 4 a.m. Sat down at a nickel Stinkin Rich and put in $100. Lost it. Put in a 2nd $100-Lost it as well, but got LOTS of play and several bonuses on it. HAD THAT FEELING, so I stuck in a 3rd $100. Got a bonus round and ended up with a hand pay of $1759.00! I felt like I was getting Brianzz service. The girl that comes to pay me is from Bolivia and her English is broken, but she seemed nice enough. Her card doesn't work in the machine, but she writes all the stuff down, takes my ID and goes to get my money after I tell her I want the taxes taken out. Well, I wait.......and wait.........and wait. About 25 minutes later she comes up to me and says "I'm so sorry, they wanted me to pay someone else off so I'm going to get yours now" WTF? She has my stuff, then pays someone ELSE off first? Glad to see how the top label card holders are treated. She finally gets back with my money, and her tip reflected the incident. I wanted to tell her she could thank the person who had her pay someone else for a $90 reduction in her tip, but I restrained myself.

Unfortunately, that was about the only restraint I showed. I SHOULD have gone home, but did I? Of course not. This was my first machine after all. Went to the high limit area and tried a one coin $5 machine. That was like a hoover. 2 spins each gave me a blank and that was it for my $100. Was going to play the Quick Hit $1 machines, but they've either been moved or taken out.

To the 2 c Stinkin Rich. Stuck $200 in and cashed out about the same. Over to the penny Stinkin Rich. Lost $100 in the bat of an eye. Over to my favorite nickel Stinkin Rich (Not the one I'd gotten the handpay on). Started off good and I cashed out a ticket for $300 more than I'd put it, but I had that feeling again. This time the feeling was WRONG. The money I'd brought with me that I was going to take back home with me was soon out and in play. More losing, and I finally gave up on that machine.

Went up front and decided to play the $1 Sizzlin 7's. Got any 7's twice and turned my $100 into $400. Lost another $100 in the penny monopoly and moved over to the next one. Turned that $100 into another $400. Went upstairs to play the Stinkin Rich in the special high limits room, but that just ate up more money. Back down to my favorite Stinkin Rich. Was down to my last $100 when I got a bonus and ended up cashing out $600.

Decided to play the 2c Stinkin Rich again and fed and fed that thing. I had the 2nd to last $100 in the machine, when I FINALLY caught a good bonus. Got the same thing I'd gotten on the handpay--the old ladies with wilds on 2 of the columns. Ended up cashing out $800.

So, I didn't leave the casino ahead, but I was only $30 down when I left, which isn't TOO bad when you consider I played for 7 1/2 hours. It would have been nice if I'd left ahead though, but I can't seem to manage that one.

Seven and half hours for $30? Wow! Nice play time and to start the new year this way is great.
As for leaving ahead.....only if you win at the end and have to run to catch the plane is that happening...

Lynn, sounds like a fun time. Wish you'd come out ahead, but $30 for playing that long and earning some points, isn't too shabby.

Hopefully, the new year will bring you many more trips that will be "Stink'in" big winners.

I really did earn a LOT of points, at least I thought it was pretty good. Over 7,000 in points, which is equivalent to over 14K in play. I guess if you consider my cash back, which would be $35 for 7K in points I came out ahead, AND that's not even counting the money Uncle Sam and the wonderful State of Wisconsin have already received. I WISH they'd let me only take out state taxes, but no such luck on that---it's all or nothing.

Lynn sounds like fun for $30. Although the alternative sounded better, LOL, get paid and run like hell! There's always next time, You are due for a BIG one! As we all are. I'm still waiting!

Lynn, you do have some wild rides! lol It was fun to read and I can't wait to watch you go through the bonus round in Stinkin Rich in person.
