Mini Mini MeetI had the distinct pleasure of meeting Cop and "the little woman" this morning at the local casino. Of course I managed to get there before he did (may have had something to do with the difference in drive times. LOL). He called when he was on the road and said he was about 25 minutes away. I kept playing on my machine for awhile which was sucking the money like anything and decided I needed to cash a check, since I wouldn't have enough to keep playing. (Usually a VERY bad idea!)
They got there and we exchanged hugs. They are both so pleasant and personable, and those of you who've been with Cop on chat know how funny he can be. Unfortunately the gambling gods weren't too kind to him this morning. He put up a good fight, but I think they won.
I got lucky on a nickel Stinkin Rich, after sticking a small fortune into it, with few cashout tickets and hit a taxable for $2300. After taxes, it only put me a little ahead, which really sucked. And, once again, I got the Bulgarian lady who doesn't know what she's doing paying me out. Afterwards I saw my favorite girl and she commented on me winning. I asked her why SHE didn't pay me off. She said she was in my section, but she was busy doing other people's work. When I told her I got that same girl again, she said the next Sunday morning she saw that machine go off she'd come right over cause she'd figure it was me. LOL.
Cop and his lady had to leave, so we said our goodbyes. I played about 4 more machines, losing on all but one of them. Cashed in my coupon, ticket, and points and Dave and I headed out. Final tally (not counting the coupon and point money) was that I was up by a whopping $60. Actually I'm thrilled, because before that hit I was DEEP in the hole, so it was nice to climb out.
Cop, we'll have to do this again sometime. Next time hopefully you can stay longer.

Glad you got to meet Cop and his lady. Just wish all of you would've come out ahead on the gambling.

Lynn, you definitely have nerves of steel. LOL! WTG pulling that one off. I'd be worn out after that wild ride. Heck I think I was worn out reading about it. LOL
That is so cool that you got to meet up with Cop and the little woman. It's always fun getting to meet up with friends. Hopefully the next time the gambling will be better and everyone can take home some extra money.

How great you got to meet Cop and the "Little Woman". I hope they can make it to Tunica when we all go. We can all promise to be on our good behavior. (for about 5 minutes anyway).

I'm still in trouble from the mini meet. It was a LOOOOOOOOOOG ride home. The little woman liked Lynn but I don't think she likes me anymore. ROFL At least there is peace and quiet in the house now. I love when she is mad at me.

Rich, I hope she gets over it soon. She was very sweet. Maybe next time (if there's a next time allowed) there won't be so much pressure. Hey, did you like the stuff in the bag?
