Missing Trip ReportSad to say, I did not make it going to a casino and not gambling. I'm sure everyone is shocked! LOL.
Got up to the casino, and met up with my friend. Went to the grill for dinner and we shared an appetizer platter and I had the rib eye steak and he had the T-bone. It was pretty good, and free is a good price. (Of course the cost of free is pretty high, I would later discover)
After dinner we went to the Kris Kristofferson concert. I really enjoyed it. I don't think it was quite Roger's type of music, but he said he enjoyed it. He sang all my favorites and a lot I hadn't heard before. Personable, too.
This was where I was going to go home. Roger was not a good influence on me. He wanted to see me play. Well, I've decided he isn't very good luck. It was very ugly. Nuff said!

Lynn, everything sounded very nice, except for the gambling part. You have my condolences. But if I know you, and I think I do, you'll recapture your losses the next trip. I have faith.
Glad you had a good time at the concert!

Lynn, after the gambling part, did you start to sing Kris Kristofferson's biggest hit..."Why me, Lord"???

Lynn, I was thinking you must tip pretty well, since you weren't going to take any money except for tips...rofl
Sorry you didn't win, and I'm real sorry you didn't call one of us for support to get to that door!

Lynn, sounds like you had a great time at the concert. Sorry about the gambling losses. I just knew when you didn't come into chat that you had stowed away on Kris Kristoffersons bus and was out touring somewhere. LOL But instead you were gambling away your "tip" money. LOL
Rocky better be ready to make an appearance in Tunica.

Slimster, it was hard to decide between "Why me Lord", or changing the 1st line in Me and Bobby McGee to "Busted flat in Milwaukee" LOL

i I hear ya, Lynn. Many are the times that I could have changed the lyrics to "Busted flat in Tun-i-ca" myself!

Lynn, I feel your pain. I made a short trip to Tunica last night, and... well, let's just say it wasn't pretty!!! I really like the Dean Martin Wild Party slots as well as Glitz. At least I did before last night!
After a long battle with them, I decided to do a reverse charge, also known as a tactical withdrawal. Ok, I retreated! They won this round, but just wait till next time...!!!

You'll get em next time Slimster! Hey, are you going to be there anytime between the 26th and 30th? A big group of us are going to be there and we'd love to meet you. If you look under the upcoming trips, there's information about the trip and where we'll be eating each night. We'd love to have you join us if you're around. You sound like a blast and will fit right in!
