More Stinkin FunThose of you in chat last night knew there was a "chance" I'd be going to the casino early this morning. Yeah, like there a "chance" that Wisconsin will get snow in the winter.
Since Dave has been so kind in funding several of the latest trips, and has kind of been whining about that, I went to the bank yesterday and got $500 to give to him to bring. I had $900 left from our last casino trip, so that was my bankroll this time. (Knowing that, if needed I COULD cash a check or use the ATM card, which would NOT be optimal).
We got there somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 a.m. Ended up valet parking cause some car was broken down in the casino entrance. I decided the smart thing to do would be to collect my birthday gift first, so I didn't forget it. Usually it's some kind of nice pen set or something like that that I can stick in my pocket. This year, it's this big "wine carrier bag" that I had to lug around with me, and have no idea what I'll do with. It's a nice bag, just don't have any use for it.
Settled in at a 2 cent Stinkin Rich. Got a few bonuses, but they weren't very good and I was down $200. There was a guy behind me playing 500 nickels on the nickel one. Too rich for my blood, and it didn't seem to do him much good either. I couldn't get on that one, so I went to the other nickle Stinkin Rich I like. It was having trouble remembering me as I stuck $100 after $100 in it. After the 6th $100 I cashed out a ticket for $400, leaving me only that ticket and one more $100. I just HAD THAT FEELING that it was still going to pay out, so I stuck in the last $100, after having to stick it in several nearby machines to find one that would take it. It was the lucky hundred. The machine started REALLY playing and going to town. Several good hits and bonuses later, I cashed out another ticket for $1200. (Not from a single hit, so no W2G, thank you very much). Cashed in my $1600 worth of tickets and went to the high limit area. Stuck $100 in the $5 Wild RWB and cashed out a ticket for $200. Stuck that $200 in the $5 Black Tie and cashed it out at $300. Cashed in that ticket. I now had $1800 in cash, and should have found Dave to go home, but we were going to meet at 7:30, and, let's face it, I'm not one to leave a casino early. I stuck my original $900 back to hopefully take home with me (which isn't always a winning proposition, since I usually am able to remember where I put it), and kept the other $900 out to play.
Over to my least favorite nickel Stinkin Rich, and it remained true to form, gobbling up $300 with no bonus or anything. Next stop was the 2 cent Red Hot Jackpots, where I put in $100 and cashed out $300. Lost $100 in a nickel Blazing 7 progressive game, but got a lot of play out of it. $60 in a $1 Double RWB-cashed out $100. $40 in a RWB, lost that. $700 left to play with and it was off to the nickel Stinkin Rich I couldn't get on earlier. I told myself I wasn't going to put it all in there, but you know how that goes. $100 after $100. Getting some play, but NO bonuses. Not one to be easily discouraged (besides, I KNEW where the money I originally brought was so cleverly hidden), I stuck the last of the $700 in there, and, like the other machine, things started to light up. Soon I had it over $500 and was going to play down to $500 and cash out, and it just kept going, until I finally cashed out $1000.
Still had about 1/2 hour before I was supposed to meet Dave, so I headed up to the Solstice High limit room to try the Stinkin Rich there. It's not usually one of my favorites, but there have been times where it's been good to me. I decided I'd put no more than $300 in there. Well, I stuck the 1st $100 in there, and it was playing and playing with me for awhile, then I was down to about 200 credits when I hit the 35 spin bonus. I ended up cashing out $200, as I elected not to put anymore in it. Stuck $100 in a $10 machine which didn't give me a single credit return, cashed my $200 ticket out and it was time to meet Dave.
I'd like to say he had the same great morning I had, but he lost the money I'd given him. Fortunately, with my $1000 ahead, I'd made up for that plus more! Now I'm trying to think of a hiding place that I won't remember until Tunica. LOL.

WTG Lynn!
Great run and you made it home with the money. That's a feat you don't manage often, congratulations.
Now as for hiding that money. That can be very dangerous for me, I'm so good at hiding things, I never find them again...LOL. So be careful...LOL
Good wins.....congrats!

Well your night makes mine look pretty whimpy, Lynn. But, I think we are just now starting to get the feel of having a local casino to patronize on the weekends. Not sure if I'll ever have the luck you do, but with some more time maybe I'll have more colorful reports to share.
So glad you got out with a nice stash of cash, and I wish you the best of luck hiding it from yourself. I'm like Jean. If I put something up, it usually stays put up until I accidentally come across it. Anyway, really enjoyed your report. Congrats on another great session!

Nice going there Lynn! Glad to see you used control, LOL. That's the problem with winning early, you tend to spend it back because you're ahead and you have time to kill. Good to hear you made it out the door with winnings!
I swear though, you keep the strangest hours, , I have to be in bed at a failry decent hour or I screw up my whole WEEK. The only way I can think of "hiding" your money is to go to the bank and exchange it for rolls of quarters, LOL, Then you won't want to lug it all to the casino
Good trip report!
Cheers

Lisa, it all could have turned the other way all too easily. I lucked out TWICE! That doesn't happen also. Also a good thing I had to meet Dave, or I probably would have given it back.
Oh, BTW, Dave REALLY wanted to go again last night. He must have asked me 20 times within 2 hours. I stuck to my guns and said no, though. It wasn't easy.

WTG Lynn! No W2G's AND you brought home more money. You really gave those Stinkin Rich machines a workout Rocky! lol
When I hide stuff from myself I usually don't find it until I'm looking for something else I've also hid from myself. lol
Wtg on your control last night not to go. I'd have a very hard time saying no too. LOL
Well done Lynn on a winning night at the casino!
