My Tunica Trip 3/18 to 3/21Hi,
Sorry it toook so long to report back, shoulder and all. First we went to the Gary Airport, they now charge for parking up front, figure your broke when you come back.lol There is no bar, so I brought some beverages for the wife and I while sitting in the car. We meet some nice people while waiting to board the plane. Once we landed in Tunica, the consier greeted us and told us to call hime if we had any questions. We went to the hotel room, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We dropped off our coats, freshened up and we were off. The Harrahs Casino was very big, but I have been spoiled by the Joliet one and going to Vegas. Alot of the machines were older ones and boy were they not hitting. We ate at the Sports Bar Restaurant upstairs and the service was horrible, the food was so-so, not going back to this one for another meal. I was actually up by time 4:30 am hit. Went to bed. Went back at it at 9am and boom, hit me like a freight train, I might as well left my wallet on the floor for someone to pickup. Crash and burn was our saying. We ate at the Buffet at Harrahs, AWESOME, service food and all. After gambling all day and night the wife and I were losing, but saving money for the next days came in handy. We went to Horseshoe and it was dingy and surprizingly alot of $5 slots, but again all older ones. Friday was the highlight of our trip. We saw a guy win 30 grand on a slot. The real highlight was dinner. We ate at 37 on a comp. The bill came to almost $200, but I guess losing alot it felt like a $2000 meal, lol. Sat. was here and we crashed and burned, with the almost big win. All in all it was alot of gambling. We went from platinum to diamond in a weekend. We already received an invitation to come back and that was filed. The only gambling I will have for awhile is in the basement. Atleast i can take the money out. All in all we would go back, but with a group of people and have a car to visit the other casiono that were further away.
Thanks again for all the input before my trip. P.S. we over slept to goto Graceland.

Mike, thanks for the report. Was wondering how your trip went. A group of us ate at the Paula Deen buffet at Harrah's last time we were there and also thought it was very good. I know a lot of people have done well gambling at Harrah's, but I haven't been one of them. Not too much luck for me there. Last time was truly vacuum city.
Hopefully next time you'll go you'll have a car so you can get around to the other casinos. They all have their pluses and minuses.
Hope your shoulder is getting better and we get to see you in chat soon. Win your money back in the basement! LOL.

Hey Mike, thanks so much for the trip report. I've been watching for it.
Sorry the winning just wasn't there this time. I know we can all relate to that. Yeah, having a car there is great so you can get out and see which casino clicks with you. Hopefully you can go back before long and get your money back. lol
Hope you have a winning session in the basement! I need a basement like that. LOL
Hope your shoulder is better and thanks again for the report.
Good luck on your next trip.

Hey Mike,
Glad you had a nice trip, would have been a great trip with some money to bring home, but I have a lot of those no win trips myself.
I loved the Paula Deen buffet, I thought it was very good. As for gambling at Harrah's in Tunica, I have not won there ever! It's just one of those things that I see winners but I'm not one of them.
One thing I always hated was how it was layed out (and size) made it very hard to find someone in there.
Glad you had some fun, look forward to seeing you in chat.
Thanks for sharing.

I don't really like the carpet they've got at Harrah's. The pattern actually makes me feel kinda dizzy when I first walk in!
