I think I recall the story you gave security was that you were looking for your names on those gifts????

And if anyone has noticed, they didn't put any gifts under the tree at the Fitz this year.....ummmm. I do wonder why?????

Once upon a Christmas Holiday
Some friends and I went out to play.
I thought that meant we'd meet and gamble
Just didn't know they'd be so hard to handle!

Oh, this gang stayed there and "Played" alright
I've never seen such a "Playful" night!
At first they played "Pick on the waitress."
They whined "She ain't Silas!" (And she was much less!).

They moved, though some moved kinda wobbly,
Till they came to the hotel's lobby.
The desk clerks watched, in shock and disgrace
As that gang sang bawdy songs by each fireplace.

They took pictures of trees, gifts and wraps
And of themselves in each other's laps!
All this was fun as they shared the glee!
Till they decided to raid the Crristmas tree!

I knew that was trouble, right away
But they wouldn't hear a thing I'd say!
Stealing gifts-- "Okie," "Cracker" and " Ralph"
Made it much worse by taking that photograph!

Here came the cops (As I knew they would),
They were soon collared and collared good!
Then lead out by cops, in cuffs, all three.
As I thought, they were pinched by Security!

I tracked down those missing malcontents
Who were going to jail for these events!
The Investigator, (Who is me)
Held conference with friends in Fitz' Security,

Gained their confidence and posted bail
And that stopped'em on their way to jail!
You know they never, then or later,
Took time to thank The Investigator!

This A Team will be the death of me
If I keep having to get'em free!
But guess I'll keep going when they call
Because, Good Lord, You know that I love'em all!

How delightful to read your poem and remember all the fun of that night. I have to admit the truth in this poem, that is all but the fact you were right in the middle of that foray. LOL

I love it I love it! It took me a bit to be able to post cause I was laughing so hard. You do know how to bring a huge smile to my face. You nailed that night so well.

If I didn't know better I'd say that Pam was choking
the life out of me in this one, but I guess the picture
is evidence enough for a conviction.
