Quick Cherokee tripWe went over to Cherokee last night for the first of the Cadillac drawings. We didn't win. Imagine that. I was more than a little disappointed too, since I was looking forward to impressing my meet companions in Tunica with a big red Caddie. Oh well, there's another drawing tonight, so maybe one of us will get lucky. Don't anyone hold their breath though.
As for gambling, I was on limited funds due to a big losing endeavor a couple of weeks ago. Smart me -  However, I did find a seat at a sweet VP machine. I didn't get the big banana, but it went on a 4OAK run that was just way too much fun. I left my post $500 up! For me, that was excellent. Of course, if I'd gotten up earlier I'd had a lot more, but you know how that is. I did get a bunch of play, which made for a great evening and took the edge off not driving away with a new car (or the cash, which is probably what I would've done).
Going for a second shot tonight.

WOW You left the casino with some of their money. That goes againt the gambling strategy that Lynn taught me. Win big or go home. I always go home a BIG loser. Congrats on your win and good luck with the drawing tonight.

We managed to overstay our welcome again though. Played from 5 p.m until 11 p.m. It was a win some lose some battle. For the entire weekend I was down less than $50, which is both good and bad I guess.

I'd say you had a really good day, if you played that long and was only down $50. Sure had a lot of fun for a small investment.

Yeah, Lisa, I think there's some kind of a rule that you can't win two days in a row. At least you got out pretty cheap! Better luck next time with the drawing.
