We went to Cherokee last night for the Camaro drawing. Needless to say the crowd was HUGE and we had to park in the back 40. However, we sadly did not win the car, but for once in the last few give-aways, I felt like the winner was a good choice. He came running out of the poker parlour hooting and hollering, and waving his hat. He just looked like a regular nice guy. It's always nice to see a regualr nice guy, or gal, win. He was truly excited, of course.

As for gambling. It started out slow, like it always does. However, after the crowd began to break up about midnight, things seemed to improve. This wasn't a huge win or anything, but I finally got some play out of Stink'in Rich. Knowing how well some people do on that game, I always have to run a few bucks though it, just in case. So, I put a $10 coupon in just to see if it was playing or not. Normally the thing sucks the money right out of your hand and gives you nothing but a paper burn, but this time I got some decent play and landed a 70 spin bonus round that gave me $75. Not bad for 50 lines x 1. I played a little of it and decided to call it good and cashed out. Took my cash and went to play quarter VP. Hit a little before deciding to switch machines, where I hit numerous 4OAK's. Got it up to $378, which should've been more, but the wait in between hits always seems to eat up the winnings. Anyway, after all was said and done, and Bruce racking up some hits too, we came home with casino cash. With Tunica on the radar, that's a good deal.

I know what you mean about the guy that won the car, it's nice to see someone win that acts like they really appreciate the win!

wtg Lisa! I love to hear winning trip reports! Now you have extra cash for Tunica! Glad you did well at Cherokee! I don't fare too well there except every now and then! And I really don't like it when it is so crowded that you can't play something that you like to play! Great trip report! Hope we have a bunch of them after the Tunica trip!

Bev, without a doubt, there will be some interesting reading after our trip. Always is.

BTW - I added a little more to my Tunica stash tonight. I got on the quarter VP again. Found 3 machines that were in the mood to play. Cashed out $100 & $200 tickets several times. Even hit aces with a deuce kicker for $500, which was fun. Since the royal flush seemed too much to ask for, I kept trying for more aces. But, the effort proved fruitless. Finally gave it up and got the heck out of there while I still had a respectable wad of cash in my pocket.
