I have not been able to make it to Tunica since June of last year, so I have kept myself occupied with short trips to the local casinos in Oklahoma, Choctaw and Cherokee. Hubby and I were doing fairly well at Choctaw, then Boom!...nothing. My losing streak started at the same time his, coincidentally, Mom started losing as well. Enough with that.
Friday afternoon, The beginning of My Spring Break, I decided to drive up the road to buy one of those electronic cigarettes, well the casino is right across the road and I had a coupon....so why not. My coupon was only good for monday thru Thursday, so that was a bust. But I was just goin in with a twenty to put in one machine. I know $20 sounds like a waste of time, but truthfully I have won more money, (and saved more) on very small investments, than I do when I go in ready to break the bank. Well of course my machine that i wanted was taken, so I sat at another and proceeded to make my 20 turn into 10, then the bonuses started and that 10 went to 80. Then that 80 went to 60 and I cashed out. Went to cash that ticket and decided I would take my original 20 and play my machine I had came to play in the first place. Yay! It was open. Hot Shots at $2 a spin a 20 goes fast, but all of a sudden 5 blazin 7's on the line for a beautiful $400.00. Cash It!....proceed to put my other 2 twenties in for nuthin, but came out of the casino 380 ahead. Yay Me.

I normally use Lynn's strategy.....lol.....but there are times, very few times, when I will walk away. Usually I have to be on a time schedule. Like right then I was supposed to be picking up a cake for mine and Husband's 1st anniversary......I was an hour late.

When basketball season is happening I have an hour to kill before going on duty. I could sit at school and grade papers, Or I could....Take 40 bucks and go to the casino to smoke cigarettes and drink free coffee....lol.....which sounds more fun?

Kim, congrats on walking away a winner. Sooooo hard to do sometimes.

I have to agree, there's something about playing the slots that is way more appealing than work.

Hey, Kim! What can you tell us about the electronic cigarettes? Is it one puff and you're done. How do they actually work?

I bought it Friday. Took it home and put it together, It came with a charger to charge the battery. I have the NJoy Brand, NPro, starter kit. It came with 5 cartridges of liquid......some type of chemical reaction occurs when you puff on it..you actually get smoke ..the tip even lights up. I only need a couple puffs to subdue a craving. I have not quit smoking, but have cut back considerably, in the last 3 days. I only smoked 1 cig Friday night. Yesterday I took a 45 minute drive and puffed on it a couple times in the car and did not have a real cigarette until my arrival at the casino, BTW,....I used your strategy, and gave it all back. Today took that same 45 minute drive to town and did not smoke a cigarette....and I really have not been trying.....Google Njoy electronic cigarettes, go to the site and do some research. Then look at the news articles about them. A new article came out the day I bought mine and some people are saying they are the same as smoking. Get them before the govt, decides to tax them or whatever...lol. at the website they are $80....I bought mine at Pilot for $70.

Off to Branson....I will report back and see how the e-cig works on a car trip. I love smoking in the car, that is one of my main problems.

Kim it sounds like you are on a roll.................up and down..............LOL. Still, it's better then working.

Keep us informed about the Njoy's. I'm tempted to try it, I really need to quit, and if it's better for me then regular cigaretts, then I am all for it. You can be our guinea pig. We want updates, LOL.
