TR Part Two

TR. Pt 2.
I arrive at Fitz, go inside and meet Jean, Lynn & Bev!  Wow! Another
wonderful reunion.  I have been missing them for waaay too long.
It is a joy and a thrill!  We just can’t wait this long again!
Cheryl’s on the way, Buffy is too. so is Brian and Macy,  Steve and
Michelle are sleeping in, I guess but we’ll see them soon.
Buffy arrives and it is so  good to see her again.  I can’t wait to hear
some of her stories!  She is such a great story teller! She just keeps
me laughing.  Brian’s here, looking fresh as a daisy and ready to take
on some slots.  Cheryl’s plane was delayed, but she’ll be here soon
So we gab, play some, but most of us are too excited to know what!
Cheryl arrives and we go up for the meet and to welcome all who
came, especially Pam who had the honor seat, and had her picture
taken with everyone to prove that she truly is “The Center of attention.”
It was great to see and greet everyone, to see The Plaque given to Brian.
It is a very nice one and he earned it with the website and all the great
work he does. After a while Jim and Frank arrive—It was nice to meet
them for the first time- since I had only spoken to them on Chat. I was
also glad that Cheryl could make it in spite of a heavy work load, and it
had been too long since I saw her too.
We went to the buffet and I was so excited I forgot to tell the gang to wait
that Macy, Steve and Michelle were coming but they arrived before we
got seated so we did get to eat together and it was super.  The buffet was
one of the best I ever had at Fitz. Playing after dinner is kind of a blur, but
I remember Cheryl, Steve, Macy and me, playing but Steve was the winner,
Best I recall. We turned in kinda late, and missed seeing Macy & group off.
Sorry, Macy, Steve and Michelle.
Breakfast at the buffet was good but the play was not. I did have some ups
and downs without losing too much. Dinner was good again, but I missed
Buffy and her entertaining stories.. but I did enjoy all the gang & was so glad
They all made it.  I was really sorry that Pam, Chuck, Lisa, Bruce, Bobbie,
Luna, Perry and Fast Eddy didn’t.  I’ll be looking for them next time. There
will be a penalty for those who don’t show ( Without a written excuse.)
Another good breakfast on Tuesday, then the move to GS and some of the
gang leaving and we’re down to five.  But what a great time I had with that
gang—My Number One Daughter and my pride and joy, Cheryl, My dear
friends and buddies, Jean, Lynn and Bev.  I  usually don ‘t play slots much
but this time I did and had a great time and it was fun trying to keep up with
where everyone was and how they were doing.  Jean seemed to stay on the
Ladybug slot, Cheryl loved the Wizard of Oz and Bev was a roamer, like me.
I was so glad that Cheryl won on her Wizard… She played hard and she did a
good job!  I was sorry that Brian had to leave us so early, I really enjoyed his
pointers on the slot machines.
Cheryl left us on Wednesday and we were down to four!  Play was slow, but
dinner at GS was great again… As always. I love the buffet but just can’t seem
to win there..
After winning and losing a while, I got on Cheryl’s Wizard machine and
Wonder of wonders, cashed out with a $250 win! At GS! A first!!  Wow!
At some point, I forget where or when, I had played A dollar VP machine,
lost, and moved to a quarter machine.  After some time playing I hit a flush
and a few hands later hit four Aces and cashed out with  125 credits.
Cheryl took the ticket to redeem and came back with $31.25. I told her I’d
won a hundred and twenty-five dollars. We  went to the cashier and I told her
I’d had a ticket for 125 dollars, but only got 31 dollars and something.. as I
was talking, I realized what happened and asked her “ How much is 125 quarters?”
She said “$31.25”!!!  Problem solved, but guess who was red faced!
Thursday, after breakfast ( Another good meal) we separated after goodbyes, to
check out & go home….. Bev and I decided we were not ready yet, so we went to
Sam’s Town—I had a reservation (Just in case! You know.)  and Bev was lucky
enough to get one, so we had dinner, played a while and said goodbye cause Bev
Wanted to leave early.  I played that Alien machine, but it took my money without
a sign of sorrow. So I went to bed.  I left about ten AM, and Bev called to tell me
she was almost home.  I should have been as smart as she..
We did have a good meal at Sam’s for a Goodbye time.. I hated to see my Ga. Buddy
go, as I hated to go also.  But I still had stops to make at Vicksburg and Shreveport..
I did !  But should have known better!  LOL.
It was a wonderful trip, especially since it was the first in such a long time, but the
GANG OF TROUBLE SEEKERS made it so!
Please overlook the poor spelling, punctuation and language, as you overlook
the poor gambling example I seem to set.
I’m almost ready to go again!
WILynn

Stew, I'm with you on that ready to go again thing!  It was so great to see you, Cheryl, and the gang that was there.  Our trips are always such a great time and the memories are priceless.  WTG on that Wizard of Oz hit!
TunicaTraveler

Stew,

I am so very happy and excited that you finally got to go to Tunica.  I know you had a great time and it was well deserved.  Too bad you could not have come home with more money but I think you came home with alot more than money.

Great trip report and I can't wait to see you and Cheryl at the next one.  You can count on me being there.

Stew, it's so great to read a trip report by you again!  I've always enjoyed your reports and this one didn't disappoint.  It's about time you got to go back and have fun huh?

WTG on the Wizard of Oz win...that was a good one.  I'm glad you got to spend time with mini-me, but she's gotta stay home next time cause I'm going. LOL

Loved your report Stew...thanks for posting it.

Can't wait to plan and plot the next trip.

Love ya!!
TheBuick

Great report Stew, I enjoyed it!  Thank you.  Sigh...I'm jealous.  I really have to make that next meet.
Jean

Stew,
What can I say....I think first of all the very best part of the meet was seeing you again. I know it's hard not to see many of our dear friends at every meet but, we all were really pulling for you to make this one. We all sure had fun and tried to make every moment count.

Loved your escapade with the 125 credits....
You had a good run on that Wizard of Oz....$250 WTG!

Wasn't the "Center of our Universe" cute! What fun we had doing that. We'll all gladly see "Pam" at the next meet. Mini-me was just to dang quiet...LOL

Until the next one, which is always to far away, take care dear friend. It was a blast.

Buick, mark your calendar for sometime mid to end of April for the next meet.
