Tunica Part 1We made it here about 3:30 and checked in to the 1st floor farthest room from the casino, lets just say the room isn't the freshest smelling or newly remodeled.... so things started well.
Gambling isn't going great but it's not bad, I haven't won hardly anything, Mike is doing all the winning, I knew he was good for something.
As soon as I figure out how to pair up my phone to my computer I'll post some of the few winning photos I've had a chance to take.
There's a few things that are really pissing me off, namely the lack of cashiers. Almost all of the redemption machines at Fitz are broke or they give you back really bizarre cash amounts, like earlier I popped a $25 ticket in the machine and it gave me 25 $1 bills, glad it wasn't a $100. And I think they have a total of 3 cashiers working in the whole casino and it's packed out.
Alot of the bill validators just don't work at all, Fitz has put some new games on the floor but good luck playing them since about half the machines won't take money at all. But I have figured out a trick, if you get a ticket from the next machine you're in business then after that it'll take money again.. weird and stupid. And speaking of new machines, ebay.. sucked.. new WOF's sucked.. most everything sucked!. Stupidity is running amuck in the casino, old ladies telling me not to play this machine because the progressive isn't high enough and don't play the one beside it because she's about to play it and it's going to hit the jackpot. And lots of sitting in front of one machine and playing the one next to it goings on also.. Must be some kind of convention in town.
I guess Fitz is playing all the tournaments on the WOF games now, they're using the Five Times Pay versions upstairs in the old high limits area beside the cashier. The reason I say they're using those is because all the double diamonds they used to use are now different themed games.. although they're mostly all clones of the same games. Dear Fitz, a little variety would be nice.
Had the buffet and it was decent except the watered down cokes, they really need to fix the ratios on those.. had some great blueberry pie for desert.. yum!
Played myself to death since I got here but as I said earlier, others are doing the winning thank goodness. Time is catching up with me now, beddy bye for a few hours..

Good update. Sounds like a decent trip in progress. Glad Mike is winning, but you need to get in there and do some too. Kick some butt, Brian!!!!
The pie sounds good, wish I had some of that right about now.

Brian, this wasn't the start I had hoped to hear. Sure hope today goes better for you. That sucks about the broken bill validators and cash machines. I just hate it when that stuff happens. I've had to do the "put the money into the next machine" so I can use the ticket in the one I want to play trick before. Glad you're getting along so well with the blue-hairs. LOL. I didn't have any luck in that EBAY game either. I was less than thrilled with it. Hopefully today will bring better luck for you!

Brian, sounds like corners are being cut to save some bucks. Too bad they don't think about the money lost if the dang machines don't work, or you can't get to a cashier to get money to feed them....duh.
You must be very mellow this trip, those old ladies just don't have a clue who they are dealing with...rofl.
Dang....tell them you want a new room. If they can give suites to penny players they sure as heck can give you a nice room.....go get em Brian!
