After we played the tournament we walked around the floor for awhile, as was par for the course for the rest of the trip nobody was winning. We went to the room for awhile and I played elf bowling for a few minutes and started waving the bank card in the air.

Reluctantly I went up to the ATM at Wendys, our banks ATM, no fees.. jackpot! Withdrew $200, I should have got more and saved another trip.

We stopped at Ballys on the way back over to Fitz and got a little bit of play for the money we invested. The cluster started when we tried to redeem our free play. Insert card, press 7, enter PIN... invalid pin.. great. Go to the cashier/check casher/credit card redeemer/player club. They say it may help if you used a Ballys card and not a Resorts card.. whatever. Got the new card and played some more and tried to redeem again. Insert card, press 7, enter PIN.. Invalid again.. damn it! Go back to the multi-tasking cashier and tell them it keeps saying invalid PIN. She says you didn't set one when you got it a little while ago... and I wasn't asked to. So I set my PIN and finally got it to redeem for what that was worth.

Mike had a good run on a 2 cent 5 reel seven times pay machine and got to play forever.. 7X's kept stopping till he started playing max then they dried up and gobbled his money down. I played a 2 cent Triple Double Stars 5 reel game, you know the one where you get something every spin, well mine didn't get anything on any spin.

We drag out of there about an hour later, hoping I had single handedly saved Ballys, and evidently winter had moved back in while we were inside since it was cold again.

We moved back to Fitz, on the way back I passed a sign that said Sheraton would double your Fitz coupons from Dec 1 - 31 in free slot play, so I had to ask the stupid question did he bring the mailers, of course not.. damn it! Dear Sheraton, the purpose of promotions like this is to get people to come in to the casino to play yet you only advertise these locally. Maybe I need to go to casino marketing class to learn how to sink a casino in 3 years or less.

Back at the Fitz about 7:00 checked our scores, Mike was just out of the money on the tournament and I wasn't even close. Played around for awhile and got some smaller hits but nothing big enough to talk about. Finally got broke about midnight, on the way to the room to go to bed I tripped over a leprechaun and my card got swiped through the ATM machine, may as well get some more money out.

I gave Mike $10 and told him that was lucky money and he needed to go win while I blew the rest of my money with no hopes of winning. I heard him yelling my name and I thought he was just being stupid again so I walked up and looked at his machine and saw this.

Pretty good for only playing 3 lines and the only time I've ever seen anyone win anything on 5 line triple double red hot 7's. Sadly that was the final decent win for the trip and we were snug in bed about 2 hours later looking forward to the longest drive in the world to get back home.

Overall I can't say it was a bad trip because it beat the hell out of sitting at home. But the gambling could have been much much better. I didn't encounter any exceptionally stupid or retarded casino workers but there were enough stupid players go to around. The food was good, each and every time the buffet had the exact same thing as the day before on it, variety please. The weather was somewhat cooperative, only cold the last night. And I'm glad I held my reputation of being W2G free since 1997.

Over all any trip is a good trip, so this one was good, just not as good as it could have been with some bigger wins.
Don't you just love standing in line twice, when the idiots could tell you the first time you needed to reset pin.....like I'm sure the entire purpose of getting a new card was just to admire it and not use it.

So Mike pulled a "Lucy" ....no coupons. Guess you need to go over those rules of packing for a casino trip again. LOL
Start stashing some coin back now for the Spring trip. You and Lynn can have a race of sorts on who can collect the most w2g's that trip.

Brian, I sure wish the gambo gods had been better for you this trip. We sure need to change your W2G free since 1997, or at least get you on the road to some wins. Personally, unless it was pretty big, I'd rather have several 1K wins and skip the W2G.

Wouldn't you think if you needed a PIN they'd have EVERYONE do it immediately when they sign up for a card. It seems to be a reasonable thing to do, but I guess some people don't think that way.

I have to disagree with "the longest drive in the world" home. I think mine might be a TAD longer than yours.

I sure enjoyed the daily updates, you done good there. maybe you should become a cub reporter and just wander around the casino detailing casino patrons wins and losses.................that would make a great reality show, I know I would watch, LOL.

At least you got away, has some good food, (if a little monotonous) and got to play. I wish you could have hit something!

Maybe we could send you undercover to Tunica and do a show, LOL, put it on you tube abd watch it take off!!!!!!!!! Yeah, thats the ticket!

Brian, I enjoyed reading your report. I sure wish the wins had of been way more plentiful. Like you said..it was better than sitting at home.....I can attest to that. lol
I'm surprised you didn't come unglued at Bally's after you had to go back up to the desk the last time. Wow...you showed restraint. LOL
I hope we all have a great spring trip. Me and you can always do our penny slot pull again if it gets bad. LOL Heck, we'll do that anyway cause we sure had alot of laughs.
