Got up bright and early at noon today, I can only imagine the breakfast buffet is good but I won't know for sure until a time I can get up before it ends. Grabbed a shower and had lunch at the buffet.. good like it has been.

Decided to go back to Gold Strike to play since Fitz isn't paying shit this trip. Got there and started out doom and gloom.. a lady was playing in the back near the middle exit doors and started screaming and yelling like a man woman so I went over to see what she hit, $800 something on a quarter machine, I thought you dumb lady.

I was $5 away from visiting my old friend Mr. ATM and looked over and saw a Triple Diamond, so I thought I'll play it, never hit anything on them anyway. Slipped the $5 in and well.. I'll let the picture tell the story.

I couldn't believe what happened, first push and I hit the jackpot, this never ever ever happens, so I yelled and jumped up and down and even called Lynn and told her about it. The most exciting part of my day to say the least. Although it didn't put me ahead for the trip it certainly help nurse the gaping bleeding wounds in my wallet.

We played at GS for another hour or so, sorry Lynn your Stinkin' Rich is still safe. Decided to move over to Sams Town since we had done OK there the past few trips.

Took $50 each in and I won on my first machine....

Played more and left $25 down after the split

Moved back to Fitz, ugh, the losing started right off the bat but I thought I should play 5 Times Pay Red White and Blue and right off the bat it gave me any 7's for 150 or something, maybe this is going to be good.. a few spins later, double bars... few spins, double bars again.. a few spins... this...

That's one of the hits I've always wanted to get... I kept spinning and got some anybars and 5X anybars and a mixed 7's or two and it finally let me lose down to $200.. cha ching right in my pocket. Hunted down Mike to gloat my ticket in front of him and sat down on a triple cash keys.. 3x double bars right off the bat.. another $50 in my pocket. Now the gloat factor is off the scale, he's about to kill me.

Played for another hour or so at Fitz with some wins but nothing else to cash out. Well report back soon with hopefully more wins.

Man....that was cutting it close...down to $5.00...now that's definitely a major "Rocky" moment. I know your heart stopped when that last one settled into place with the ding. LOL
