VP at the SheratonWell, Cay and I made it back from Resorts and the youngest grandson’s first baseball game. I know they don’t go together but Tunica is half-way to the daughter’s house and good place to “take a break”/
I promised a quick look around at the Sheraton and a little note about the VP situation.
The bad news it that all the rumors were correct and the second floor has been cleaned out. They did set up a Slot Tournament area in the old “no smoking” slot alcove. The buffet and the showroom are still there but that’s it.
The slightly bad news is that not all of the VP was moved to the first floor. I did not find the Sequential Royals anywhere and I remember them in both the nickel and quarter versions. The WPT machines did not make the cut either.
The VP that made it downstairs are grouped in two general areas. Most of them went into the little alcove to the right of the main entrance. That is where they moved the Multi-denom/multi game machines. Located here are:
14 of the .25 to $5 Multi-Games. I only checked the paytable for a coupe of the more popular games.
JOB were 9/6 Full Pay
DB were 9/7
DW were 10/8 (Five OAK and Straight Flush)
8 of the quarter to $1 Multi-Games. These had a little worse paytable.
JOB were 9/5
DB were 9/6
DW were 15/9
6 of the nickel to $5 Multi-Games. Pay tables varied depended upon the denomation selected. The nickel and quarter selection for JOB was only 8/6 while the half-dollar and up gave you full pay.
The other machines are grouped at the hotel end of the pit. Here is where you will find:
3/5 Multi-hand machines (2 ea in .25 to $1)
Spin Poker machines (2 in .25 to $1 with JOB at 8/6),
Super Times Pay (2 in .25 to $1 with BP at 7/5)
3/5/10 Multi-Hand (2 in nickel to dime with JOB at 6/5)
Spin Poker Deluxe (2 in nickel to half-dollar with JOB at 9/5)
Nickel Progressives (2 with JOB at 8/5)
Dime Progressives (2 with JOB at 8/5)
This area also had 6 of the Multi-Denom machines with JOB at 9/6 Full Pay.
The back bar still has the 12 bar tops with the BP at 7/5.
The Keno machines that were next to the elevator on the second floor were moved to the alcove by the back door. I doubt if they changed the pay tables but I’m sure Keno will let everyone know if they did.
There are also 3 machines hidden by the back door that I think might be the best in the casino. They are penny progressives with 100 max coins and the JOB was 9/6. When I was there the progressive was up to $1055.
So all in all, Sheraton is still a good place to play VP with quite a number of Full Pay machines on the floor and a few set up to pay the rent. Good Luck and I hope this helps a bit.

Ed, thanks so much for the update! It's helpful to know what's up to strategize the "game plan". Hey, maybe we'll run into you there? Enjoyed seeing you in October!
