Wedding Night Dinner

Looks like this forum could use a little extra.  After Kevin and I got married we went to a steakhouse called Coy's.  It is in Hot Springs Arkansas.  Everyone Valet's....a first for me and Kevin.  It was pouring down rain so I was pretty happy about the whole valet thing.  Our minister told us this was THE place to eat and be sure to mention we were just married.  Well with the goofy smile on my face and having to think what my last name is....the girl at the front desk figured it out pretty quick.  They seated us in a private dining "stall" surrounded by 3 brick walls.  each brick had a couples name on it and how many years married.  Kevin and I signed our names as well and wrote just married 3-18-08.  Now the food.............YUM....I believe the best steak I ever had.  I had the Steak Oscar....a tenderloin cover in bearnaise sauce and lump crab meat with asparagus.........It was awesome.  Kevin had a new york strip that was really good too.  They serve biscuits with honey and butter and they give you a tray of warm saltines, to spread softened butter on then drizzle with their special french dressing....sounded gross to me...but it wasn't bad.  The waitress brought us a HUGE slab of chocolate cake at the end of our meal in honor of us just getting married.
anyway, if your ever in hot springs  look up Coy's

Sure sounds good, but of course I'm hungry right now...LOL

That was really neat to be seated in a cozy place and all the memoribila on the bricks.  Cool... maybe you and Kevin will return and add anniversaries to the bricks.

Kim, that sounds wonderful!  Could you bring us in some of that food to chat?  LOL.  What a nice cozy place, and, as Jean said, could be a nice place for anniversary dinners.

Kim,
What a nice review.  That place sounds great and so does the food!
