Post subject: Have any Tunica casinos closed due to poor economy
So, I was wondering. We had heard these rumors of Resorts and Balley's closing. Is there anything to this? Or have they already closed> Does anyone know about this? We don't usually go to these, but I was just curious. Thanks

It appears as though at this time it was only a rumor, although one never knows from day to day. I know Resorts in AC is in trouble. There's an article about it someplace around here. _________________
This is a rumor that only time will define for us. As Lynn said, I've read that AC Resorts is in trouble.
I think the crowds reflected at Tunica Resorts is because of it being a locals favorite. Resorts mailers are really geared to the local patrons. I mean most of the mailers are only good if you are there on a given day between certain hours, give me a break. How many of us that aren't residents there would that be of use to.
I do hope that all the casinos in Tunica make it, because we need the competition between the casinos to favor us, the players.
