First G2S game management solution on the market includes innovative sbX(TM) Floor Manager and impressive game library

RENO, Nev., May 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) announced today that Imperial Palace Casino Resort & Spa, located in Biloxi, Miss., has signed a contract with IGT to install the sbX(TM) Tier One package. Installation will proceed pending regulatory approvals and will include sbX(TM) Floor Manager, including access to over 100 themes in IGT's game library.

In the past month, IGT has installed sbX(TM) Tier One packages at Ameristar Casino in St. Charles, Mo. and Barona Resort & Casino in San Diego, Calif.

Sales of the industry's first G2S game management solution have begun. IGT's partner properties and pilot locations have been critical to the company's preparation for commercial sales. Properties such as Ameristar St. Charles and Barona Resort & Casino have been instrumental in providing feedback about the system. "This has been a collaborative process, and customer input has driven important product features in our commercial solution," said Saenz. sbX(TM) Tier One is a lease-based package that combines sbX(TM) Floor Manager and IGT's AVP(R) machines, plus access to more than 100 game themes with new themes added each month and Professional Services. The Tier One package is designed to provide a partial-floor G2S game management solution without the expense of a floor-wide conversion. sbX(TM) Floor Manager revolutionizes the game theme conversion process by allowing operators to change and configure games in real time with no machine downtime - driving customer loyalty and decreasing associated operational costs.
