Up to the minute trip report, travel day

Started out after lunch to head over to Southland but the car turned into Ballys.

Played there for a short time with 0 wins but man it was packed, I've never seen Ballys that busy. I think everyone was picking up the most useless gift of the month I've ever seen in my life.. a set of car floor mats... geez, they probably could have spent 1/3 of the money they wasted on those and given away coolers.

Started back out to Southland and the car veered over to the Gold Strike, weird how that happens. Played for a good while with a few mid size wins... not much to write home about tho'.

Was up about $150 at the Gold Strike and decided to move over to Horseshoe. It took Harrah's a good while but they finally made it to where you couldn't win anything at all at Horseshoe. Told Mike next time I ask him to go to HS just grab my money and stick it in his pocket and save me the walk over there.

Decided it was too hot/late/far to drive over to Southland so we headed back to Fitz to continue the losing. Lost on lots and lots of machines and finally got $125 out of a Double Gold, little did I know that would be the only win of the day at Fitz for me. Although I did have Stinkin' Rich up over $100 3 times today at Fitz and played it off trying to get the bonus, long brutal periods between bonuses evidently.

Had a late dinner, everything was great again, although no steaks tonight on the buffet they were grilling ribs which were excellent.

Had to let the food soak in with very little movement so back to the slots we go to lose lose lose lose and lose. Mike got $100 out of some 5 line double triple red hot 7's or something, we walked by it a few minutes later and a guy had it up to 2500 credits, told him he got off of it too soon.

Might have to go back down a little later in the night when it calms down to lose some more, dunno if I can stand it having money and sitting in the room for long.

At least you walked out of one casino ahead. lol Darn it, I was hoping to see some really big wins today....I guess you were hoping to also.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a big comeback!!

I got up early to see how are you doing, Brian. Doesn't look too bad.

I know how it feels to have some gambling money in your pocket and not be in the casino. Talk about HIGH ANXIETY! I'm already plotting about going over early Friday morning, winning, and then going back on Saturday to win some more. LOL
