Ok, so in the last episode we were losing at the Fitz, if I recall correctly we went back down to the Fitz and played a little more losing and losing and losing, including sticking $180 into Stinkin' Rich only to get a 45 spin bonus that paid $50, nice.

I got on a Bonus Times Pay machine and played for an hour and a half on $20 and still got my $20 out, got 3 bonus times alone on the payline that paid 2X 3X and 3X. The only reason I knew how long I got to play was a man just walked in the door from out of state for a family reunion and put $10 into Ten Times Pay Red White & Blue and lined up white 7 10X 10X and that's how long it took to pay him $3,000.

Moved around playing here and there and somehow an argument started over something and Mike went upstairs to pout, I went over to another Ten Times Red White & Blue and saw someone left it with 10X anybars, I took this as a sign of things to come. Slid a $20 in and hit double bars right off the bat, then 10X anybars.. a few spins later....

For a cool $200.... I figured Mike had enough time to pout so I went upstairs to wave my $225 ticket in front of his face, I found him playing Triple Red Hot 7's and I looked at his credit meter and saw this...

It's kinda hard to see but it says 2315. He said he put $5 in it and hit triple the double 7's on the first spin, then 2 spins later hit 2 triples and a double 7, 5 spins later triple double 7's again. That machine was on fire, hence the name Triple Red Hot 7's I guess. While I was playing beside him he got 3X white 7's and 3X blue 7's pretty close together and it calmed down enough for him to play it down to $600, we cashed out tickets and made plans.

$825.. WOOHOO!

I told him I was sick of Fitz, which I generally get after the first night of playing every machine in the casino 3 times, so I said lets take $300 and take $100 each to Sheraton, Horseshoe and Gold Strike, in that order (in an attempt to save the best for last).

We took off and walked in Sheraton, I describe it at best as a funeral, there was maybe 50 people in the whole place, the worst band in the world playing, Total Rewards was closed, I honestly don't see how they stay open. We walked the entire casino floor, I stopped at a machine and got change and we didn't play 1 machine, just walked over to HS.

Horses tables were packed and the slots were busy with scattered handpays, and not those Fitz and Gold Strike handpays of 3 or 400 dollars but really genuine W2G handpays. We played all over with some small wins $50 and $75 ones but nothing photo worthy. Finally lost our $100 each and moved over to the Gold Strike.

This was looking all too familiar, almost like I had already been there once today.. oh yeah, I was there already today. We separate to play our favorites and I run into Mike about 40 minutes later and he's playing 5 line Triple Double Red White & Blue, he asks me is this the one I won on and I said no and pointed to the one in the next bank and said $500 is over there. We move over to those machines and I'm trying to get Five Times Pay to take money but it's not very cooperative but I finally get a $20 to go in just in time to hear CHINK CHINK CHINKKKKKKKKK coming from Mikes machine and look over and see this...

If you can't see it, it's TRIPLE DOUBLE TRIPLE for 2250 quarters and 4 more for the double being in the middle and 4th payline. I got to thinking about it and told him if the other triple would have stopped in the middle it would have been 10,000 quarters but we were pretty good with 2258.

By now it's 12:30 in the morning and we're way way up for the day, I tell him lets play a little more at GS and haul ass out of here. Not many more wins there so we take off back to Fitz.

Get back there at a little after 1 and I'm already subtracting checkout time from the current time and whittling away the hours of sleep we'll be able to get.

It gets pretty fuzzy here all I know is I played dollar machines for hours and didn't get hardly anything going on them at all, they'd hit for $30 or $45 right off the bat and then eat it back up and I'd cash out what I put in it. I don't really remember any big wins, I didn't find any pictures on my phone but I remember getting $150 out of video WOF after hitting Fortune Spin over and over and over at max bet. I ended up with 913 points for the day before the change over, I figured I could have probably got to my Elite card but it'd be a waste just for 90 days.

July's promo cash was added on a little early in the night and I pretty quickly turned mine into $70 cash playing dollars, meanwhile an Asian lady walks up and puts $20 into the $1 Twelve Times Pay I just got off of and pushes the button twice and gets 12X 12X single bar for $2,880 handpay, mind you the first taxable I saw at Fitz in 3 days.

I remember going back in the room and seeing the sun coming up out of the window and just got a sinking feeling, I crawled in the bed and got up at 10:15 AM just enough time to throw everything in the suitcase and grab a shower and throw everything in the car and slide into buffet just in time for breakfast.

FYI, breakfast is still the same old stuff, nothing new, horrible gravy. Can't improve everything I guess, skip breakfast and have an early lunch is my advice.

Overall, this trip was great but if I hadn't hit what I hit on the last day it would have totally sucked. I did leave a few hundred in Tunica but for the first time in years I left with over of what I took, for me that's a miracle. I can tell you this, if Mike hadn't suggested that we go play Reels O'Dublin I would have left with almost $200 more, I was chasing a bonus that never came. I'm sure Fitz changed those machines because even the locals playing them say they don't play the same anymore.

The food was fantastic at Fitz barring breakfast the last day, but even then it was OK too.

Can't wait to go back very soon!

Brian, what a great trip!  Glad some hits kept coming, and that Mike got some too.  That last day saved you both!  Sounds like a wild ride.

Great reports.  I've been reading them all.  Congrats on the several good hits you got.  My wife and I went Tuesday evening and I played all night using my free play coupons, and never had to use any of my own money, and actually left with 30 dollars ahead.  Not a big win obviously, but anything's better than a loss.  I'm planning on going back Friday evening and staying till sometime Sunday morning.  Hopefully it will be a more productive trip!

Anyway, sorry for the topic drift.  Again, really glad to see that you had a good time and some nice hits while you were there.

I forgot to mention the 2nd time we were at Casino Center when walking across the street/alley from HS to GS there were a couple of "ladies" hawking the corner displaying their goods for all that pass by right in front of the Horseshoe guard. Although I'm not opposed to the self employed nor public nudity I think the guard just standing there with a big smile on his face says alot about the priorities of security at the Horseshoe Casino. Real nice Harrah's.

Brian...what a wonderful trip report!  I enjoyed each segment but the last few the most!  WTG on all the hits!  I know that really saved you!  Can't wait until our next meet!  I just hope I do at least half as good as you did!

Brian,

Congratulations on the wins.  It is a great feeling when you can come home even or with casino money in your pocket.  I hope your winning streak continues.
